Psalm 119:12
Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes!

It is the Lord who is to be blessed above all. Are you saved today? Bless the Lord for your salvation! Are you growing in Christ? Bless the Lord for your sanctification! Are you hoping in the promise of our Savior’s return? Bless the Lord for your future glorification!

If you know that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, bless the Father for revealing this to you!  If you believe the blood of Jesus is sufficient to atone for all your sins, bless the Son for His sacrifice on your behalf! If you can read the Word of God and understand what it says, bless the Holy Spirit for the illumination and understanding only He can bring!

The whole of Scripture is a revelation of God to us. It teaches us His law, which reveals His glory and His holiness. Do not miss this reality: God has made Himself knowable to us. We who were “dead in our trespasses and sins” [Ephesians 2:1] and who were “enemies of God” [Romans 5:8] and the very recipients of His grace and mercy. We can know God through His Son and through His Spirit.

Do you remember when Jesus was telling His disciples about the Holy Spirit in John 14? He told them that after going to be with the Father, He would then send a Helper to them. This Helper, the Holy Spirit, will "teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you" [John 14:26].

So it is the Holy Spirit that teaches us God’s statutes. He reminds us of all the Son has said and done, and illumines our hearts to the truths of God's Word. As those in whom God's Spirit dwells, let us be ever-listening and open to His inerrant and infallible Word.
