Connect is a ministry for young adults that seeks to connect us with God's Son, God's Word, and God's people.

Every week, we meet together to learn about God on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30AM.

This one-week lesson examines the Biblical idea of adoption, showing how a person goes from simply being one of God's creation to becoming one of His children. We will also discuss the benefits of being one of God's children, both in this life and in the age to come.

Located in Greece, the city of Thessalonica was visited by Paul on one of his missionary journeys and a church was started in that community. Sometime later, Paul wrote back to this young church to remind them that Christ will return. See how this promise is meant to both comfort and convict Christians as we await our Lord's glorious appearing!

It's time for our fourth question, and this one concerns the Trinity. Does the Bible teach that God is one? If so, how can there be three persons? Beyond that, why does it matter? We'll look at what the Scripture says about the Trinity as we explore this issue together.

This careful study of the book of 1 John lasted 19 weeks (not including a break in July)! During our time in this letter, we saw how John referred to God as light, life, and love. We also learned the importance of fellowship, discernment, and the confidence we can have before the throne of God thanks to Jesus Christ!

This study, based on 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, showed us how God makes his appeal through us. We also looked at several other passages that gave us some practical insight into how to share the message of Christ with others.

Through the years, God has made several promises to people like Abraham, Noah, Moses, David, and even Jesus. This series showed us what God promised his people, and revealed why we can truth him to keep his word.

The Resurrection
January 2007

Over four weeks we looked at each Gospel writer's account of the resurrection of Christ. Some details are different, but the overwhelming truth is the same: Jesus is alive!
